General Body Meeting
The next general body meeting will be on November 1st at 7:00pm in NSC 205. Engineers from the five disciplines of civil engineering; structural, geotechnical, transportation, construction management, and water/wastewater will be in to talk about their discipline. This event is a great way to learn about different opportunities in civil engineering, and is also a great networking opportunity!
Pumpkin Chunkin The annual ASCE pumpkin chunkin event will be this Saturday, 10/27 at noon at bookstore field. We will be slingshotting pumpkins across the bookstore field. Please bring small pumpkins to slingshot.
Resume Review Our resume review is process gives you the opportunity to have a professional engineer review your resume and give you feedback on it. To participate in the event please submit your resume to us by Friday 10/26 at 11:59pm. Please email your resume in a PDF format labeled Lastname_Resume to email@example.com. The actual resume review will take place at 6:30pm on 11/8.

Design Hours in Furnas 1018. We will be trying to get 75% drawings done this week so stop by when you have free time. Monday 12-3 Tuesday 11-2 Wednesday 12-3 Thursday 11-2 Friday 12-3 Fabrication of connections for testing will be happening this week most likely on Tuesday and Thursday. Look out for an email with exact times. There will be an AutoCAD tutorial in the coming weeks so members can learn the basics and help with shop drawings. Look out for an email about that as well.
