Since the semester is quickly approaching we wanted to make you aware of a few events that will be happening towards the beginning of the semester and various service events we will be participating in throughout the semester. Look out for an email in the future about our first meeting of the semester.
Future Cities Volunteers
Volunteers are needed Saturday January 19th. If you are in the Buffalo area please consider volunteering. The event will be held at Mount St. Mary's Academy in Kenmore. Check-in for volunteers will be at 8:00 am and the event will run until 3:00 pm at the latest.
The roles for volunteers will be helping move displays, measuring, timing, serving lunch, and escorting teams around.
The Future Cities Competition will be hosting its Regional Finals where 6, 7, and 8th grade students learn to tackle authentic, real-world problems and learn the engineering design process.
Anyone that is interested in volunteering please fill out the link.
We will be sponsoring a blood drive through American Red Cross on Monday, January 28th (First day of classes!). We will need volunteers to help sign people in throughout the day. Use the link here to sign up.
