Engineering Behind the New NY Bridge Presentation On Friday 2/23 at 3:15 in SU330 a series of guest speakers will be in to talk about the interdisciplinary engineering of the 4 Billion Dollar New NY Bridge. Learn how industrial, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and civil engineers came together to design and build the new bridge across the Hudson River. Multiple engineers from the project will be sharing what it was like to to participate in the project. The presentation is in conjunction with the ASCE Buffalo Section and the National Society of Professional Engineers. Free Pizza!
Next General Meeting Next general meeting is Monday 2/26 at 6:00 in NSC 210. We will discuss board positions for next year and start nominations for elections. There will also be a brief presentation from the UB School of Management on the 5 year combined civil and MBA program.

Battle Bot Maze We will be setting up the maze for battle bots on Thursday (2/22) starting at 7:30pm in the lab Jarvis 117. We will move the maze to SU 145 and set it up for competition. Please stop by and help between 730 and 1130pm.
E-Ball Will be held on Saturday, February 24th from 7-12PM at Statler City. The theme is Hollywood! Buses will be available from the Student Union to Statler City. There will be awesome prizes, cupcakes, great music, food, and more! Tickets are on sale at SBI ticket office SU 210.
Apparel sale We will be selling UB ASCE windbreakers along with other apparel this semester. More info to come soon!
Elections Elections will take place at our meeting on 3/29 at 6:30 room NSC 210. Nominations will open at our meeting on 2/26 at 6:30, room NSC 210. Learn more about board positions at this meeting.
Joint Meeting with Buffalo Section The annual joint meeting with the professional section of ASCE Buffalo is tentatively scheduled for 3/15 at Banchetti's. More info to come.
